Christmas In New Hampshire

Ah, I checked out your Tabblo, and someone likes hippos?

Send the hippo-lover to Hutto!

(There’s a bed and breakfast, I can get the info on that for you if that would be of interest at all. There’s a very nicely-painted hippo in front; if I get around to my project of photographing lots of the hippos in Hutto and posting the pics to the appropriate LJ community, I’ll let you know, so you can pass along the link as you see fit.)

It’s like the whole town has some sort of hippo perseveration. 😀 It can be quite amusing!

The day after holidays always feel so disheartening. I kind of like the build up to the holiday more than the holiday itself. Sure my relatives come here, we eat, then open presents, but after that it seems anti-climatic. This year my wish list could fit on a post-it note ,yet ten years ago I could easily write a wish list with more pages than a phone book. (Age 18 doesn’t feel as old as I thought it would be but it doesn’t feel very young either.) I just wish I could have as much enthusiasm for Christmas at 18 that I did at 8.
