This helped lift the mood:
Our friend NancyBea originally had the Create-A-Character on her website, which Ned has linked to in his post. Ned and the boys and I sat together and made our family (Nat was not too interested, however, although he does love to watch The Simpsons with us every Sunday). A good laugh with my guys is "like a witamin," as my grandmother used to say. That, plus a very late but very good argument/talk with Ned. (I know many of you are thinking, "Thank God I'm not married to her!") Well, I know Ned doesn't like the late-night argument either, but he does like me, so...

Sue, you guys look great! I notice you and I chose the same eyes (quite possible!) and the same bodies (I wish!) I'm glad it was fun for you guys. Here's mine!

Yeah, they didn't have pale pink skin tone only a jaundiced looking pale yellow. It looked so icky, especially with blonde hair, that I just couldn't use it. Instead I went for my rarely achieved "deep tan" look. Which is probably the exact shade of your everyday color! ;->

We had the same exact problem with Nat's skin tone. He is tan and blond, but he only looked yellow when we first made him so we made him one degree darker. BTW, Ben loved that you had a donut on your shirt. You have made quite an impression on him, artist-to-artist. I mentioned commissioning a painting from you to him the other day (I will have to speak to you about this idea I have) and he said, "She's the one who paints kewpie dolls and donuts!" And I said, "And really interesting people you want to be with and scenes you want to be in."

I was not happy with the hair choices for me (although Max was ecstatic to be Sideshow Bob)and Ben did not like the monochromatic pants or shoes (he wears camouflage and colorful Van sneakers).
