Beautiful pic and great article! I especially loved when you said “figure out what your own happiness looks like.” So true. Thank you for being a wonderful source of encouragement for so many!

In the few photos I’ve seen of you you always look so serene. I think I have one like that in the past five years, maybe it’s due to my kids still being so young! Lovely article, and I just finished the book, wish I’d had it a few years ago with your first. Sometimes it’s nice to have someone do the “processing” for you. Thanks for both!

I very much enjoyed reading this today. I am at my desk at work and trying not to cry, because one statement you made in this article touched me very much–“If Nat can continue to have his job, that’s our Harvard, because he’s just doing so well at it.” Nat’s accomplishments, (sucess at his job and enjoying what he is doing and being good at it) makes you as proud of him as any parent would be of their child’s accomplishments. That’s all I want for my son when he becomes an adult–that his days are happy and productive.
