{"id":1165,"date":"2006-11-23T05:31:00","date_gmt":"2006-11-23T05:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/susansenator.com\/blog2\/2006\/11\/in-my-head\/"},"modified":"2012-05-27T08:34:20","modified_gmt":"2012-05-27T12:34:20","slug":"in-my-head","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susansenator.com\/blog\/2006\/11\/in-my-head\/","title":{"rendered":"In My Head"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once, years ago, Benji said suddenly, &#8220;What&#8217;s in my head, what&#8217;s in my head?&#8221; And he rushed out of the room to find a pad and draw! <a href=\"http:\/\/nedbatchelder.com\/tabblo\/125390\">Here is a Tabblo Ned did of the Littlest Boy drawing<\/a>, using pics from four years ago.<\/p>\n<p>And now, I give you what is in my head, and elsewhere&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>1) In my head:  Excitement at the prospect of seeing Mom, Dad, and Laura.<br \/>2) In my heart:  Happiness knowing that both Mom and Dad have plenty for Nat to do &#8212; I told him this and he smiled.<br \/>3) In my car CD changer:  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shira.net\/nourelain.htm\">Melina&#8217;s dance mix, esp. this song<\/a><br \/>4) In my belly:  Hunger for pie and bread<br \/>5) In my dream:  An invitation to a grand dinner in a castle-like home, and then the worry that I would have to reciprocate<br \/>6) In my imagination:  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.specialolympics.org\/Special+Olympics+Public+Website\/default.htm\">The Special Olympics<\/a> book that needs to be written<br \/>7) In my navel:  A simple barbell piercing, healing nicely<br \/>8) In my suitcase:  A red skirt from Anthropologie that is almost exactly like my favorite one in nursery school.<br \/>9) In my gastank:  Plenty of 89 octane fuel for<a href=\"http:\/\/www.volvocars.us\/models\/xc90\/\"> the Amazon<\/a><br \/>10) In my inbox:  Lots of fun emails, and lots of spam<br \/>11) In my State House:  <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.hcfama.org\/?cat=3\">An outgoing, horrible Governor who just used his 9C powers<\/a> to cut millions from the budget, including slashing help to stop homelessness and support services for the developmentally disabled and the mentally ill. Nice.
