Nat and Annie

This is Nat with his music teacher, Annie. She is fairly new to the school, but with her came an entire music program for Nat’s school and an entire new world for Nat. They put on a talent show; they learn music theory; they sing; and they are learning the scale and the length of notes. And why not? These kids are capable of so much, you just never know until you try. Annie is more than willing to try.

And Nat just loves her. It looks like the feeling is mutual!

What a great photo. Nat looks so handsome, and his teacher obviously loves what she does, and loves Nat!
I’m looking forward to my son having the same experiences once he starts at his new school this spring.
Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful photo! Daniel is included in regular ed at his school during music and reading with the other second graders. They put on a show this year with their typical peers (I happen to like the word typical to describe kids without disabilities, and it was introduced to me by one of Daniel’s earliest teachers. She was one of his best). It was really great, and D had a huge grin throughout the program. Can’t wait to see more of Nat making music!

Nat reminds me so much of a younger version of your father in that pic. Striking!
