I surely won’t get 28 comments on this blog post. But I got surfing and beaches on the brain today, even though it is overcast, because I am going to the Cape on Friday to see my parents and my sister. And I have been talking to my old Israeli boyfriend (from 29 years ago)about having him visit us on the Cape and teach us all how to surf! He has been surfing for decades. He taught me how to drive a tractor; why not how to get up on a surfboard?

wow…looks like fun! Surfings a big thing down here in the Daytona Beach area but with the dangerous rip currents…no thanks! Saturday they had to rescue almost 300 swimmers…is that insane? Anyway, you’re looking good in your suit- us 44 year olds got it goin on, don’t ya think?
You’re on a surfboard. Here’s comment one 🙂
I’ve been craving saltwater too. Have fun.
Have you taken Nat to a Surfer’s Healing event? We went last year and it was MAGIC!
Most parents of autistic children that I know spend so much time actually working very hard with their kids that they barely have time to take a shower. How is it you have so much free time for activites such as surfing and old boyfriends?
We are looking into Surfers Healing. But Gabi might be able to teach Nat!
Anon: If you keep up with the blog, you will see that what we do is activities that the whole family is interested in! So we all go to the beach, we all try surfing, etc. And I think it’s very important to keep up with old friends, as much as possible! My next book is about this sort of thing, actually.
You are a stud. I can’t get into a swimsuit, much less stand on a surfboard.
Brava, girl!
