As an old a/v geek my first thought for a cable or doo-dad is always Radio Shack 🙂

Nothing takes a beating like a good VHS tape, and nothing makes me want to curse like a sailor more than a recently purchased DVD with a big ol’ scratch on it.
I’m guessing our Toy Story tape has been played no less than 3,000 times, and the flippy-up thing that protects the tape has been missing for years. Buzz and Woody are just fine, thank goodness.
Susan, at our Wal-Mart, they sell $1 DVD’s of old cartoons. Popeye, Superman, etc. – this has led to Thomas drawing anchors on his arms on a daily basis, but other than that, a good way to teach proper DVD handling. But be advised, old three stooges bits are thrown into the mix, and that fosters some imitation.
Have an awesome day. Lisa
